Provided is a high polymer desalination membrane which comprises a sulfonated poly(arylene ether) copolymer having a cross-linked structure in a chain. The high polymer desalination membrane according to the present invention has high salt rejection, and exhibits superior effects in terms of chemical stability, mechanical stability, and dimensional stability with respect to water, as compared to polyamide desalination membranes which are currently widely used.
