<p>A core includes a thick, well-ventilated inner layer (2) made of fragmented slivers of continuous glass fibers (2a), the inner layer (2) being covered with two outer layers (3, 4) that consist of fiber segments having a hot-melt surface. The assembly is secured by penetrating fiber segments (3b, 4b) having a hot-melt surface, the segments penetrating, along part of the length thereof, into the inner layer (2) and adhering to the continuous glass fibers (2a).</p> |
