<p>The disclosed vehicle seatbelt device is provided with a webbing, a belt reel, a motor, a clutch, a detection means, a breaking control means and a motor control means. Further, the aforementioned motor control means is provided with: a standby current control means which, when the aforementioned breaking control means outputs an action signal, passes a current capable of maintaining the aforementioned clutch in a connected state through the aforementioned motor; and a variable current control means which, when a change in the operation state is detected by the aforementioned detection means during current control by said standby current control means, transitions away from current control by the aforementioned standby current control means, and adjusts the amount of current to the aforementioned motor on the basis of the aforementioned vehicle operation state detected by the aforementioned detection means.</p> |
