<p>The invention relate to medicine. The method for creating spatial disorientation in an individual comprises stimulating the visual and auditory analyzers synchronously and in harmony with one another. The remaining sense organs are not stimulated in a manner equal to the visual and auditory analyzers, nor synchronously, and are mismatched with one another, which results in the mismatching of the cortical and subcortical functional systems of the brain that respond to perception of space and, as a consequence, causes spatial disorientation. In the device for carrying out the method, the base is in the form of a rectangular plate and is provided with telescopic supports which are mounted vertically at the corners of the plate and have extensible rods. The supporting element comprises a rectangular platform, an electric drive, a driving roller and a displacement mechanism. The device is also provided with an inflatable pneumatic foot rest which is arranged on the platform, a compressor and a biaxial horizon sensor which is mounted on the platform, and is also electrically connected to a power supply unit, a commutator and computer. The computer is electrically connected by an input to the biaxial horizon sensor and by an output to the commutator, the outputs of which are electrically connected to electric drives of a longitudinal and transverse carrier, respectively.</p> |
