<p>A wind turbine and system related to the control of wind turbines. The wind turbine device is comprised of a plurality of blades arranged for rotation about an axis. During use the blades are moveable between different incline positions relative to a plane substantially normal to the axis. The control system allows for the detection of the rotational speed of the blades about the axis and for selectively resisting movement of the blades to a different incline position based on a comparison of the rotational speed with a target speed value determined by the energy output level for the turbine.</p> |
