A terminal is disclosed. The terminal is fitted to a connector, and configured such that, when the connector is fit to a counterpart connector, the terminal electrically contacts the counterpart terminal, which is fit to the counterpart connector. The terminal is formed of a strip-shaped metal plate, the surfaces of which are configured as a rolled surface. The terminal comprises a cantilever-like contacting arm portion having elastic properties, and a contact portion, which is formed in the free end of the contacting arm portion so as to make contact with the counterpart terminal (161). The contact portion is provided with a convex contact portion, which protrudes outward from a rolled surface in a direction normal thereto. |
