<p>The purpose of the disclosed invention is to implement a transmitter module for continuously carrying out amplitude control as well as phase control, as well as to implement alleviation of amplitude and phase misalignment, and further, to implement high efficiency of a high frequency amplifier within the transmitter module. Another purpose of the disclosed invention is to implement large directivity benefits, low side-lobe level, and low power consumption, as a phased array antenna device that employs the transmitter module. The transmitter module comprises a power supply voltage control means for variably setting the power supply voltage of a high frequency amplifier (3); and a control circuit (7) that controls an amplitude control means, a phase control means, and the power supply voltage control means. The control circuit (7) and the power supply voltage control means control the power supply voltage according to the output electrical power of the high frequency amplifier (3).</p> |
