The assembly has a control crank (1) for controlling a window regulator of a motor vehicle. An annular base (2) is arranged between the crank and an inner trim (3) of a door of the motor vehicle. A washer (6) made of a low friction coefficient material i.e. Teflon(RTM: PTFE), is intercalated between the crank and the annular base. The crank includes a handle (8) and a sleeve (10) that is engaged on an axle (5) of a window regulator mechanism. The washer is arranged in contact with a peripheral crown (2a) of the annular base. An independent claim is also included for a door for a motor vehicle, comprising a control crank and annular base assembly.
