The vehicle has a roof (1) whose two longitudinal edges (2) are arranged opposite to each other and equipped with fixation units for fixing feet of a bar of the roof. Each fixation unit has a detachable zone (4) surrounded by a groove (5) bored in a sheet of the edges of the roof. The groove is sufficiently depth, so that the zone is detached from sheet by exerting manual effort (F) on the zone. A hole is formed after detachment of the zone adapted to receive a threaded insert. The zone has a gripping unit (9) e.g. pin, fixed on the zone. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for assembly and fixing a bar of roof on a vehicle (2) a set of bar of roof and threaded inserts assembly.
