<p>Disclosed in the present invention are an optical receiver, a control apparatus and a control method therefor, wherein the control apparatus includes: a backlight current detection unit, which is set to detect the backlight current IPD generated by the Photoelectric Diode (PD) and transform IPD to a voltage signal VMON; a temperature detection unit, which is set to detect the operation temperature T of the optical receiver and transform T to a voltage signal VTMON; and a compensation control driving unit, which is set to compute and output a control voltage signal VCON according to VMON and VTMON, drive VCON and then control the operation status of the transimpedance amplifier in the optical receiver. The present invention can expand the dynamic operation range of the optical receiver, increase the sensitivity and overload point of the optical receiver, and improve the jitter performance of the output of the optical receiver, thus upgrading the entire performance of the optical transceiver module.</p> |
