The container has a body (10) closed by a lower base and an upper base (12). The body comprises an internal throat (14) for being assembled with the upper base. A lateral face of the upper base comprises a recessed part having a projection whose section is conjugated with a section of the internal throat so as to cooperate with the internal throat for assembling the upper base and the body. A non-recessed part of the upper base partially covers a lower or upper end of the body. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a wooden vat comprising a container (2) a method for manufacturing a base of a container.
