The device (1) has a socle (2) comprising N orifices (10a-d) formed in a lateral wall different from a same side of a wall of a base (5), where N is greater than or equal to 2. Each orifice forms a lateral inlet for a cable (40) in the device, and the socle comprises a cable guiding path (55) and each of the lateral inlets. The guiding path arranged with the cable has radius of curvature greater than minimum radius of curvature allowed by an optical fiber (41), where the path is housed in a thickness direction of the socle.
