The invention relates to automotive engineering, in particular to the design of an automobile rear door comprising an upper part, which is attached in articulated fashion to the rear part of the automobile body on hinges, and a lower part, which is movably connected to the upper part by a movement mechanism equipped with pairs of right and left levers. Pairs of lugs are fastened to the upper part with mirror symmetry with respect to the vertical axis of said upper part, and two vertical guides are mounted on the lower part, each of said vertical guides being equipped with a runner with lugs and rollers. The upper ends of the pairs of levers are connected in articulated fashion to the pairs of lugs on the upper part, and the lower ends of the pairs of levers are connected in articulated fashion to the lugs of the runners. The guides are hollow with a triangular cross section and with rounded corners and a slot on one side, and the runners are in the form of a body which is triangular in cross section with rounded corners that duplicate the shape of the guides and interact therewith with the aid of the rollers. The lugs of the runners are fixed at the edges of the body parallel to the longitudinal axis thereof and are offset on opposite sides of said axis. The result is an improvement in the functionality of the door because it can be reliably fixed in any position when one or both parts thereof is/are opened. |
