Disclosed is a lens shift device that has a simple structure, has few constituent parts, is compact, is lightweight, and has high positioning accuracy and slidability. The lens shift device has: a first plate (12) through which video light passes; a second plate (13) that is linked to the first plate (12) with an elastic member (23) therebetween and that has an attached projecting lens (6) at the position at which video light that has passed through the first plate (12) is incident; a slider section (27) that is provided in a form protruding from the second plate (13) and that is housed at the first plate (12) a manner so as to be movable in a predetermined direction; and a guide shaft (14) that causes the second plate to move in accordance with the rotation of the guide shaft (14) and that is attached to the first plate (12) in a state of being threaded to the slider section (27). The elastic member (23) is disposed between the first plate (12) and the second plate (13), and is linked to the first plate (12) and the second plate (13) in a state that generates elastic contractive force.
