<p>Disclosed is an alternating-current arc welding device which selects a straight polarity base period and a reverse polarity base period in a second combination which are longer than normal straight polarity base period and reverse polarity base period, when a welding torch provided with a cable having large inductance is connected thereto. As a result, the high-quality alternating-current arc welding device, in which surge voltage generated by switching for polarity reversal can be kept low, thereby not causing the breakage of a semiconductor element, can be implemented.</p> |
