<p>Unevenness in brightness of an edge-light type planar light-source apparatus is alleviated. The edge-light type light-source apparatus (4) comprises a light-guiding plate (7) that makes light entering from end faces (74) thereof radiate out from a surface thereof; a plurality of LED elements (111) each of which comprises a light-exiting face (113) for radiating light; and LED substrates (112) that have the LED elements (111) mounted thereon in straight-line arrangement. The edge-light type light-source apparatus (4) is also provided with linear light-source units (11) that are arranged so that the light-exiting faces (113) of the LED elements (111) face the end faces (74) of the light-guiding plate (7); a floor-section face (91) upon which the light-guiding plate (7) is mounted; latching units (10) that are formed on the floor-section face (91) in a standing state, and that are inserted into the fringe sections of the light-guiding plate (7) in a direction from the back-face (72) side to the front-face (72) side thereof. Among the plurality of LED elements (111), LED elements (111) in the vicinity of the latching units (10) are mounted onto the LED substrates (112) so that the light-exiting faces (113) thereof are inclined with respect to the end faces (74) of the light-guiding plate (7).</p> |
