<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change patterns and luminescent colors by a simple structure in a display device. <P>SOLUTION: The display device 1 includes a combination of a plurality of surface light-emitting elements 2 and 3 displaying patterns by light emission. The surface light-emitting elements 2 and 3 include light-emitting layers 5 and 8 having light-emitting regions 5a, 5b and 8a that form patterns, respectively. The surface light-emitting elements 2 and 3 are combined by stacking. A first surface light-emitting element 2 stacked in a light-emitting direction of the second surface light-emitting element 3 is formed of a transparent material. The light-emitting regions 5a, 5b and 8a of the surface light-emitting elements 2 and 3 have different power supply systems from one another. By this configuration, the light-emitting regions 5a, 5b and 8a can be subjected to lighting control. As the light can be emitted through the first surface light-emitting element 2, patterns of any light-emitting regions 5a, 5b and 8a can be displayed, and thereby, patterns and luminescent colors can be switched by a simple structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
