<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce eye strain fatigue when watching three-dimensional video. <P>SOLUTION: A scene change detector 61 extracts frames corresponding to three-dimensional videos for three seconds from three-dimensional video signals and stores them into an internal buffer to specify a scene change frame. Based on the frame number of the scene change frame specified by the scene change detector 61, a parallax adjuster 62 acquires a frame at three seconds before and a frame at three seconds after, and specifies the maximum parallax value between two frames to calculate a parallax coefficient α.
