<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recognition apparatus and an operation determination method which enable exact determination of operation. <P>SOLUTION: An operator 102 observes an image 502 and a virtual operation face image 501 displayed on a three-dimensional display 111 by a right eye 504 and a left eye 503 of the operator, and the virtual operation face image 501 is displayed stereoscopically as existing on a front face of the operator from the three-dimensional display 111, by observing respectively with the right eye 504 and the left eye 503. A position displayed stereoscopically with a virtual operation face is determined based on an image and a position of the operator photographed by a video camera 201, to be displayed on the three-dimensional display 111. The operation is determined to be started when one part of the operator 102 comes to this side when looked from the video camera 201 of an operation face, using a relative relation between the virtual operation face and the operator 102, and a shape and movement of each part are determined to be ones in any of presumed operations, based on the shape and movement thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
