PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for avoiding reduction of high speed durability even when thickness of a tread rubber is increased especially in order to suppress generation of shimmy regarding a tread having a groove extending to a tread central part in a wave form. SOLUTION: In the tire for the motorcycle having the groove extending along an equator of the tire in a wave form on a tread step surface of the tire, a side groove intermittently extending in a tread circumferential direction is provided near the groove.
