PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification power generation plant capable of improving a plant efficiency, by utilizing waste heat discharged from the gasification power generation plant. SOLUTION: In a gasification power generation plant 1 including a gas turbine 4 equipped with a combustor 5 which burns fuel gas, a turbine 7 rotated and driven by an exhaust gas discharged from the combustor 5, a rotary shaft 8 connected to the turbine 7, and a compressor 6 which is provided on the rotary shaft 8 and compresses air by drive of the rotary shaft 8, a gasification furnace 3 which gasifies coal to turn into fuel gas, and a generator 16 which is connected to the rotary shaft 8 of the gas turbine 4 and generates power by the rotary shaft 8 being driven, waste heat recovery gas from which waste heat discharged from the gasification power generation plant 1 has been recovered is introduces into the compressor 6.
