<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser microscope device for imaging a sample using terahertz vibrations of molecules in the sample, capable of performing high speed imaging while focusing on the specific molecular vibration. <P>SOLUTION: The laser microscope device 1 includes: two optical paths 6, 7 which guide pulse laser light having two different frequencies; a laser combiner 8 which combines pulse laser light guided through the two optical paths 6. 7; a scanner 12 which scans the pulse laser light combined by the laser combiner 8 on the sample S; an optical detector 16 which detects light from the sample S; and a pulse train converter 30 which is provided to one of the two optical paths 6, 7 and converts the pulse laser light guided through one of the optical paths into a pulse train repeated at the same frequency as that of the specific molecular vibration in the sample S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
