<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitter which can prevent packet loss and suppressing unneeded alarms when the adaptive control of an interface speed corresponding to a traffic amount is executed. <P>SOLUTION: To optical transmitter for adaptively controlling the interface speed of the device in linkage with the traffic amount includes: an acceleration means for monitoring the traffic amount of an interface, and in detecting the increase in a fixed traffic amount or more, adjusting the interface speed of a line side interface and then adjusting the interface speed of a client side interface; and a deceleration means for adjusting the interface speed of the client side interface and then adjusting the interface speed of the line side interface in detecting the reduction in the fixed traffic amount or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
