PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a period when a first content is not displayed and to enable a reproduction so that the first content is displayed smoothly after stopping a reproduction of a content which is under reproduction (the first content) before starting a reproduction of another content (a second content). SOLUTION: When a content acquired from a content distribution server is switched from a first content to a second content, the first content is reproduced by a normal reproduction speed so that at least two pictures of the pictures included in a picture group per picture group composing the first content are included until an earlier time elapses either when reading of the first content written in a buffer portion 221 is completed or when a writing amount of the second content to the buffer portion 221 exceeds a predetermined amount.
