PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof case that has superior waterproof properties and high impact resistance. SOLUTION: In the waterproof case 1, an electronic paper device 7 is placed above the bottom 30 of a lower case section 3. An upper case section 2 is placed on the lower case section 3, and locks 4 of the lower case section 3 are respectively fitted onto protrusions 23 provided on a second wall 22 of the upper case section 2. In this step, the bottom surface of the electronic paper device 7 is held by a first cushioning portion 51 of a first cushioning member 50. Also, the end of a first flexible portion 52 of the first cushioning member 50 is fitted into a fitting groove 25 formed in the lower end of the second wall 22 of the upper case section 2 and is pressed to be deformed in the fitting groove 25 to become a first waterproof seal. The top surface of the electronic paper device 7 is held by a second cushioning portion 81 of a second cushioning member 80. Furthermore, the end of a second flexible portion 82 of the second cushioning member 80 is fitted into a fitting groove 64 in a waterproof member 60 and is pressed to be deformed in the fitting groove 64 to become a second waterproof seal.
