<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging module that prevents mixing of foreign matters into a light receiving surface without deteriorating light receiving characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging module 10 includes an imaging chip 20 provided with an imaging element 23 that is disposed on a semiconductor substrate 21 and converts incident light into an electrical signal and a micro-lens 25 that is so disposed as to oppose the imaging element 23 and guides the incident light to the imaging element 23, and a polarization glass chip 30 having a polarizing filter glass 33 that is disposed on the face of a transparent substrate 32 so that a polarizer 31 that defines a polarization direction of the incident light opposes the micro-lens 25 and a space member 34 that is connected to the polarizing filter glass 33 and defines a gap between the polarizer 31 and the micro-lens 25. An end portion of a melt-bonding surface of the space member 34 for melt-bonding the space member 34 to the semiconductor substrate 21 is melt-bonded to the surface of the semiconductor substrate 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
