<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a price that reflects a user's tendency. <P>SOLUTION: An auction server is the server for managing an auction in which a plurality of articles are exhibited in each type of articles, and a successful bid is received while updating a presented price to drop gradually, and the auction server includes: a number of successful bids acquiring means for acquiring the number of successful bids of articles during a fixed period; a presented price updating means for setting presented prices about the articles in such a manner that the range of drop of the presented price becomes smaller when updating the presented price gradually as a ratio of the number of successful bids to a predetermined number during the fixed period is large; and an exhibition screen distributing means for transmitting the presented price to a terminal when receiving access to information on the articles from the terminal.
