<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and a printing system capable of solving the problem of existence of a busy period and a slack period related to the use, and capable of improving operation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device 1 includes a coin vender 25 as a charging device; a control part 21 controlling operation related to printing, confirming receipt of money to the coin vender 25 and accepting start of printing; a timing part 24 for timing; a storage part 23 for storing a printing charge set in plural stages by dividing the date and time to each prescribed period; and an operation panel 10 displaying the printing charge. The control part 21 takes out the printing charge in correspondence with the date and time based on the date and time information obtained from the timing part 24 from the storage part 23 so as to display it on the operation panel 10, confirms receipt of money or the balance, and accepts the start of printing.
