PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation operating device on a circuit board capable of detecting rotation operation and imparting a rotation operation feel to an operator while avoiding a significant increase in the required area of the circuit board. SOLUTION: The rotation operating device includes a rotatable rotation operating member 18, a rotation detecting switch 20 provided on the circuit board for detecting the rotation of the rotation operating member 18, and an operation feel imparting mechanism 22 for imparting an operation feel to an operator with the rotation of the rotation operating member 18. Inside the rotation operating member 18, an inner peripheral face encircling a space is formed inside which both the rotation detecting switch 20 and the operation feel imparting mechanism 22 are arranged. On the operation operating member 18, there are provided a switch operating part 60 for operating the rotation detecting switch 20 with the rotation thereof, and an operation feel producing part 62 formed on the inner peripheral face of the rotation operating member 18 at a position deviating from the switch operating part 60 to actuate the operation feel imparting mechanism 22 with the rotation thereof.
