PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably maintain continuous production of an oriented CNT aggregate by controlling an exhaust flow rate from an exhaust pipe within a predetermined range, in an apparatus for continuously producing the oriented carbon nanotube aggregate. SOLUTION: In an apparatus 100 for producing the oriented carbon nanotube aggregate, which includes an exhaust pipe 14a for exhausting gas in a furnace, there is disposed an exhaust flow rate stabilizing section 20 comprising an exhaust flow rate measuring means 14 to measure an exhaust flow rate in the exhaust pipe 14a and an exhaust flow rate varying means 15 to vary an exhaust flow rate in the exhaust pipe 14a based on measurements by the exhaust flow rate measuring means 14.
