PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly extract a document file desired by a user, in retrieval processing of the document file by a keyword retrieval system. SOLUTION: Individual weighting values are set in each user according to input positions of keywords in a keyword retrieval expression, and a retrieval index is created. It is assumed that a specific user inputs the keyword retrieval expression 61 wherein a keyword of "influenza" is set in a first KW position. wherein "child" is set in a second KW position, and wherein "treatment" is set in a third KW position. A table 62 of the individual weighting values corresponding to the input positions of the three keywords in the keyword retrieval expression is prepared previously associatively to a user ID of the user, the table 62 is read, and the retrieval index imparted with weights according to the input positions of the keywords is created.
