PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of achieving stable rotation of a core part and improving the assemblability, and to provide an image forming apparatus mounted with the fixing device. SOLUTION: The fixing device includes: a coil (52) disposed along the outer surface of a heating member (48) so as to generate a magnetic field to induction-heat the heating member; and the core part (58) disposed opposite to the heating member across the coil, configured to form a magnetic path around the coil, and also, rotate about an axis extending in the width direction of a recording medium to be conveyed. The core part includes: a plurality of core bodies (58a to 58c) disposed dividedly in a direction intersecting with the rotating axis thereof, and composed of magnetic material so as to form the magnetic path; a shaft (59) having the outer peripheral surface on which the plurality of core bodies are disposed; and ring-like elastic members (92) disposed at both ends of the respective core bodies so as to come in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the shaft and the inner peripheral surface of the core body, and support the inner peripheral surface of the core body with respect to the outer peripheral surface of the shaft.
