PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of control information of a recording head stored in a memory, which is provided in the recording head with a plurality of nozzle arrays and different ink discharge amount for each of the nozzle arrays. SOLUTION: A setting of driving for a first nozzle array is performed by reading out of a driving table on the basis of selection information on a driving value for the first nozzle array. A setting of driving for a second nozzle array is performed by reading out of the driving table, based on offset information of first and second nozzle arrays and on selection information of the driving value.
