PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication test apparatus capable of performing a communication test according to a codec of a terminal even if various codecs are not loaded. SOLUTION: The communication test apparatus has: a first receiving part which receives connection request information including codec information showing the codec which can be utilized by the terminal transmitted from the terminal; a codec information extraction part which extracts the codec information from the received connection request information; a first transmitting part which transmits the codec information extracted by the codec information extraction part to the terminal which transmits the connection request information; a second receiving part which receives a packet transmitted from the terminal according to the transmitted codec information; a response information generation part which rewrites a header of the header and a payload included in the received packet, and imparts the rewritten header to the payload to generate response information; and a second transmitting part which transmits the response information generated by the response information generation part to the terminal.
