PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for easily utilizing setting information customized for a specific user among a plurality of image forming apparatuses. SOLUTION: In an image forming system, customized information being operation setting information customized for the specific user is registered. In the image forming system, when a specific function mode (such as a multi-tray copy mode) which has been mounted on a first image forming apparatus 1c but has not been mounted yet on a second image forming apparatus 1a is contained in the customized information, an execution operation in the specific function mode is decomposed into a plurality of jobs and execution information of the specific function mode is converted into alteration execution information described using a combination of execution information of the plurality of jobs (step S5). Then, in the second image forming apparatus 1a, a function equal to the function of the specific function mode is executed using the alteration execution information (steps S6, S7).
