摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce dispersion of a relief load to stabilize damping force. SOLUTION: A damping valve 8 is formed by placing a first relief valve 10, a set plate 11 and a preset valve 12 one on top of another, and the set plate 11 includes an arm part 11d extending radially outward in a radial direction, and a pressing part 11e formed by bending the tip of the arm part 11d. The lower end of the pressing part 11e abuts on the first relief valve 10, and the upper end of the pressing part 11e abuts on the preset valve 12 at a bent part 11f to apply a preset load to the first relief valve 10 from the preset valve 12 through the pressing part 11e. In a relief time, each pressing part 11e discontinuously presses the preset valve 12 in a circumferential direction to bend the preset valve 12 in wavy shape in a circumferential direction and to increase the flexure of the preset valve 12. A spring rate in a high speed region of piston speed is thereby lowered, and damping force characteristics are flattened while reducing the dispersion of the relief load at the same time to stabilize the damping force.
