A heat exchange apparatus for warming frac water has a frac water passageway having an inlet and an outlet and extending in a serpentine pattern, and a steam passageway having an inlet and an outlet and extending interior of the frac water passageway such that steam passing through the steam passageway is in heat exchange relationship with the frac water in the frac water passageway. The steam passageway isolates the steam from the frac water in the frac water passageway. The frac water passageway is a serpentine tubular member having an inlet positioned above the outlet. The steam passageway is a serpentine tubular member positioned interior of the first tubular member and having an inlet positioned below an outlet thereof.
