The application claims a microfluidic device and a corresponding method suitable for immunofluorescence assays. The device comprises two planar components, one of which includes a groove on one surface. When the two surfaces are paired, the groove becomes a channel. The component without the groove is functionalised with nano-particles of metal oxide: this layer constitutes the bottom of the channel when the device is assembled. The aim of the functionalisation is to allow a better adhesion of cells on the channel bottom, in order to perform fluorescence tests, in particular FISH-tests on the device. |
