<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a frame synchronization device which correctly performs frame synchronization with a small amount of operations using a small amount of pilot symbols. <P>SOLUTION: The frame synchronization device performs the frame synchronization on the basis of a known sequence of N symbols in a receiver which samples a received signal using the number of over samples as M, and includes: an estimation error calculation processing part 8 which selects N sample values by M sample as processing objects from a retrieval object range, sequentially calculates estimation errors with corresponding values in the known sequence for each of the selected sample values, and adds the calculated estimation errors to an accumulated value of the estimation errors to generate an accumulated value after update; and a comparison part 9 which instructs, when it is detected that the accumulated value after the update becomes larger than a comparison object value, the estimation error calculation processing part 8 to terminate calculation processing of the estimation errors to the sample values selected as the processing objects and update processing of the accumulated value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
