PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tweezers with a lever having a large force holding an object or capable of cutting the object. SOLUTION: The tweezers include a pair of holding pieces 11, 12 arranged so as to face with each other, with the base end side being connected to each other and the front end side departing from each other, a supporting shaft 13 rotatably erected on one of the pair of holding pieces and extending toward the other holding piece, a hole bored in the other holding piece and penetrated by the supporting shaft, a small shaft 15 arranged in the vicinity of the front end of the supporting shaft penetrating the hole so as to cross the support shaft, a lever 16 whose one end is rotatably attached to the small shaft, and a fulcrum 16a arranged in the lever. Portions of the holding pieces on the front end side of the supporting shaft are made holding parts 11a, 12a, and portions with the width narrower than that of the holding pieces in the position where the supporting shaft is attached are arranged in the holding parts.
