PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding method and a grinder, which shortens time for grinding after truing in which grinding is performed in low grinding efficiency due to an increase in grinding resistance. SOLUTION: In the grinding method and the grinder, a plurality of ground portions are ground using a plurality of grinding wheels 71, 72. A process for the grinding after truing is performed by combining plural times of processes for grinding part of the plurality of the ground portions using part of the plurality of the grinding wheels to make grinding efficiency thereof better than that for a case of grinding the plurality of the ground portions at the same time. By enhancing the grinding efficiency, bond removal efficiency is increased, and a prescribed ejection amount of abrasive grains is achieved with less number of ground workpieces.
