PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair for easily and comfortably taking baggages in and out while easily positioning the baggages near a sitting person. SOLUTION: The chair includes a leg body 1, a support base part supported at the upper part of the leg body 1 and capable of being turned horizontally, a seat 3 disposed on the support base part, and a shelf plate 6 disposed on the support base part. Then, the chair is provided with a mounting surface operating mechanism 7 for operating a baggage mounting surface 6a on the shelf plate 6 between a housing position (X) positioned on the inner side relative to the occupancy range of the seat in the plan view and a projecting position (Y) projecting sideways from the occupancy range.
