PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tending machine allowing easy riding up from the ridge bottom to the ridge top or from a field to the levee top or the like. SOLUTION: The tending machine 1 includes: a tiller 40 on one side in the front and rear relatively to wheels 30 and 30; an engine 12 disposed on the other side in the front and rear; a handle 52 composed so as to transfer above the engine 12; and a traveling auxiliary tool 60 disposed on the other side in the front and rear. The traveling auxiliary tool 60 has a base part side thereof freely and rotatably supported on a supporting frame 11 carrying the engine 12. The traveling auxiliary tool 60 is provided with a ground contact member in which the tip side thereof is formed into a sledge shape when viewed from the side and protruded to the other side in the front and rear, and an urging member interposed between the ground contact member and the supporting frame 11 to urge the ground contact member to rotate downward.
