FILTER FOR DISPLAY AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for display which does not have such a problem that a remaining photoreaction initiator in a primer layer is transferred to a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to deteriorate an absorber (dye), and which moreover includes an electromagnetic wave shielding material in a structure of having lower surface resistivity in the electromagnetic wave shielding material in which thinning the line width of patterns is required. SOLUTION: A filter 20 for display includes: a transparent base material 1; a primer layer 2 formed on the transparent base material 1; an electromagnetic wave shielding material 10 having a projected pattern layer 3 comprising a conductive composition that is formed in a predetermined pattern on the primer layer 2; and a dye-containing pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 4P. The conductive composition contains conductive particles 3a and a binder resin 3b. In the filter 20 for display, the distribution of the conductive particles 3a in the projected pattern layer 3 is relatively sparse in the vicinity of the primer layer 2, and dense in the vicinity of the top part of the projected pattern layer 3.
