摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that achieves dot-inversion driving with a decreased frequency of a display signal voltage applied to one signal line and can reduce power consumption. SOLUTION: Display pixels Pix arranged column by column, interposing a signal line S(j) in a j-th column, which constitute a display panel 100, are connected via thin film transistors in each unit comprising a plurality of display pixels Pix. In each unit, the display pixels Pix arranged column by column are alternately connected to the signal line S(j) by each row of a scanning line G(i) in an i-th row via thin film transistors. Display pixels in the lowermost row in the unit and display pixels in the uppermost row in the next unit neighboring in the column direction with respect to the foregoing unit are connected via thin film transistors in such a manner that the display pixels are respectively arranged into the display pixels Pix in the same columns of the display pixels Pix arranged column by column, interposing the signal line S(j).
