PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power transmission device provided with an oil pump improved in assemblability. SOLUTION: The oil pump 120 includes a pump cover 164 with a drive gear 160 and a driven gear 162 undrawably fixed to a pump body 154 from a pump chamber 132, and is assembled to a bottomed cylindrical case 44 in the form of an oil pump subassy 166 with the pump body 154, the drive gear 160, the driven gear 162, a pump shaft 158 and the pump cover 164 mutually assembled in advance. Even if the oil pump 120 is assembled with the opening of the bottomed cylindrical case 44 facing upward in consideration of the assemblability of the oil pump 120 and other members, the drive gear 160 and driven gear 162 are prevented from coming off of the pump chamber 132.
