PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boundary acoustic wave filter device which can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: The boundary acoustic wave filter device 1 includes: first to third media 11-13; a first IDT electrode 14 which is formed between a first medium 11 and a second medium 12; and a second IDT electrode 15 which is formed between the second medium 12 and a third medium 13. At least one of the first and second media 11, 12 is constituted of a piezoelectric body, and at least one of the second and third media 12, 13 is constituted of the piezoelectric body. Acoustic velocity of the second medium 12 is slower than acoustic velocity of each of the first and second media 11, 13.
