<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method for remotely assessing and treating physiologic brain imbalances, using neurophysiologic information. <P>SOLUTION: The neurophysiologic information such as quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG) is used in the method for classifying, diagnosing, and treating physiologic brain imbalances. The neurophysiologic information is also used to guide sample selection in clinical tests for psychopharmacologic drug candidates.
