摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for consuming energy flowing in from a generator by an energy consumption circuit arranged in a DC part of a power converter when a system failure occurs in a power system to which a permanent magnet-type wind power generation system is interconnected, thereby protecting the permanent magnet-type wind power generation system from overvoltage and overcurrent, and continuing an operation, and to provide a control method of the device. <P>SOLUTION: Even if voltage of a DC part of the power converter increases due to a system failure, DC overvoltage is prevented, and the operation of the wind power generation system can be continued. Even if DC voltage increases during the system failure, energy is consumed and the operation of the wind power generation system is continued by installing the energy consumption circuit including a semiconductor switch and a resistor in the DC part of the power converter in the wind power generation system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
