<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a degree of freedom in the configuration of an acoustic system. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of speaker devices 3 are arranged with respect to one remote controller 2, and the remote controller 2 transmits a stereo signal as a sound signal. The respective speaker devices 3 receive the stereo signal transmitted from the remote controller 2. When slide switches arranged in the respective speaker devices 3 are operated, the respective speaker devices 3 perform switching among a pattern to output stereo sound (right channel sound and left channel sound), a pattern to output only the right channel sound, and a pattern to output only the left channel sound. The number of the speaker devices to be arranged and the reproduction modes of the speaker devices are arbitrarily set by a user. The layout of the speaker devices is not specially limited.
